Government drops cap on care costs
The Government has recently stated that it will drop the previous government’s cap on costs which was supposed to come in in 2020. This means the cost of care is potentially unlimited.
In our experience care is one of the most common problems involving elderly people and it is also one of the most difficult and intractable to resolve. There is no one size fits all solution because everyone’s circumstances are different.
The important things are to have a plan and not to leave things too late. If you have any questions about care for yourself or for a relative please speak to Trevor Price who is a full professional member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
